Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Assessment and Coaching

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a widely used instrument that identifies personality preferences, such as Introversion versus Extraversion.  Leaders who complete the assessment and coaching process:

  • Build self-awareness so that insights can be utilized to improve interactions with others
  • Develop a useful lens for understanding differences and becoming a more inclusive leader
  • Gain insight into team dynamics and opportunities to improve team effectiveness

Participants Receive

Assessment process includes three coaching sessions

  1. Greeting and Overview - approximately 30 minutes
    • Build trust and rapport between leader and coach
    • Understand the leaders current role and future aspirations
    • Overview the assessment process and objectives
    • Provide baseline information on the MBTI assessment

  2. Assessment Debrief and Coaching - up to 2 hours
    • Review Type results and meaning of preferences
    • Discuss implications a leadership effectiveness
    • Identify potential target areas for change and development

  3. Development Plan Discussion - approximately 30 minutes
