The Hogan Assessments and Coaching

Description

The Hogan assessments include three instruments that measure different elements that impact leader effectiveness.  The HPI or “bright side” measures how a leader relates to others when at their best.  The HDS or “dark side” assesses performance risks that can surface when the leader is under stress.  The MVPI or “inside” indicates the goals, values and interests that motivate a leader and impact the environments in which the leader will be most productive.  The Hogan assessments are powerful individually, but have particular impact when a coach helps the leader integrate the results and implications of all three instruments.
